Operation Christmas Child: Our Goal is 52! Why 52? There’s a little more to that number than you might think! This year, Central Methodist Church has set a goal of filling 52 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes—inspired by the story of the five loaves and two fish. The cost of each shoebox is $30. Mary’s Breakfast Bunch will meet a week early because of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 18 at 9:00 pm at Linwood restaurant.
Please join us for our November Family Fellowship Night on Wednesday, November 11, at 6:15 p.m. The Methodist Women will be hosting a special Thanksgiving meal, and everyone is invited! A donation of $7 per plate is suggested. Please RSVP by Monday, November 2, so we can be sure to have plenty of food for everyone. We look forward to sharing a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and thanksgiving with you!
There will be a Worship Committee Meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:00 pm in the small conference room.
There will not be a November Trustees or Finance meeting. The Administrative Council will meet on Monday, November 9 at 7:00 pm.
Our Church Charge Conference will be held on Sunday, Nov 8, 2026 at Keistler’s Chapel in Rutherfordton at 3:00 pm.
The Community Kitchen will have Special Thanksgiving Hours on November 26 from 12pm to 1:30pm. We are in need of Thanksgiving sides: stuffing, instant gravy, cranberry sauce, and yams. Please bring your donations to the CAC hallway to put in the collection bin. Thanks for your support.
